Is it nescessary? Perfect CMS? Do you really need it? We were assigned to look for perfect CMS to suit our needs. For our IT department it sounded like yet another holy grail that would solve all our problems. Webpresence, webpages, those that were related to fuzzy and "hard-to-handle" can of worms, social media and such - one form of things IT staff easily puts in category called "shadow IT".
First it felt that we found a CMS that suited to our needs, but when we looked closer it came clear that you need tou buy "this and that" module to have all the gadgets work - and boy those jingles cost a fortune. No fortuna this day!
